I will be publishing the trade results from my own SMARTrader system each day. I will be trading with my own money and will share with you the psychological process that I am going through during each trade.

I will be covering the DAX Futures contract. It makes no difference what market you trade, my system works on all markets.

The mental side of trading is the same. You will only make it as a trader, if you have the mental skills required.

I will share with you all my thoughts, and consequently you are likely to pick up good tips from real trading.

DAY - 5 Wed 09 Sep 2009

Finally, it broke out of two days of tight range and what a break it was!!!!!!!!!!!

• Trade - 7:    At 09:00 Long 5477 Stop 5449 Profit target 5504. Trade filled at 10:00.  It was one of the easiest and best trades reported so far on these pages.  It never looked back.  As it was breaking out of a very tight range, profit target was overlooked.  On it way up it generated four short signals but none were filled.  At 16:30 (closing time of DAX cash) 100 point were covered which was filled shortly. 

Total profit for the day 100 points.

What did I learn, today?

When it is good stick with it.
